After extended deliberation, serious consideration and perhaps a little mental sanity check.... ;) myself, Master Sylvanus of Sutherland, Lord Clan ThistleMhuir and Lady Mhuireghain, have decided to submit a Letter of Intent to run for Baron and Baroness to the noble and ancient Barony of Atenveldt. Atenveldt was the first Barony of the Knowne World, the first Baron and Baroness, our own Kathleen and Ivan. We, Mhuireghain and I, feel we have much to contribute to the Barony and hope to fulfill the populace needs for leadership and inspiration. This office requires considerable time and effort. Only with the support of many friends & devoted members of the Barony may we suceed. Only by the favorable vote of the populace may we try. I have served in many offices and autocratted numerous events. The work ahead is understood. With the inspiration and youthful vision of my lady, the backing of our esteemed household and close friends I feel our efforts will provide for an exciting time. Please know that we count on your input and help. I have been asked to advise our Household that to vote at the upcoming Polling you must be a paid member that resides within the Barony Proper. If you do not meet this criteria, the crown advises that they will accept letters regarding your feelings regarding certain candidates & take the opinions of the populace into consideration.
